Peugeot 5
Peugeot are coming with a new star for the luxury car market: the Peugeot 5. The 5 will probably be a replacement for the 607 and will bring a fresh and bold new design.
The newcomer also comes with the latest environmental friendly technology: a 200 bhp diesel electric powertrain that offers four wheel drive and 99g of CO2/km.
Just like the SR1 concept the 5 has a very smooth design with curves flowing without interruption from the top of the boot lid to the end of the front bonnet.At the front we find new LED lights that blend perfectly with the car’s design by using illuminated surrounds. It also gets SR1 inspired headlamp frame and front grille.
Other features include 19″ rims, aluminum window surrounds and door handles. Under the bonnet we find the 2.0 litre,163bhp, HDi diesel engine and the 37bhp electric motor at the back. So that makes it for an overall power of 200bhp. Despite the power it can still do 74.3 mpg and combined with the low speed electric mode makes for quite an economic car.
