Yes, I know the price of gasoline is a bit stifling right now. The fact is that I feel it still isn’t that bad when I hear what our European friends are paying. I also am aware of the hassles involved in air and train travel. My choice always was and always be, if it is less than a thousand miles, I’ll drive. This fact is compounded by the fact that I am a car nut. If anyone was born to sit behind the wheel for extended periods of time, it is me. I absolutely love driving to the Victoria hotels. Upon arrival, I feel I am rewarding myself by enjoying their class and serene ambience without the slightest stuffiness some other cities might have.
